Chapter G Annual Fall Foliage Poker Run

On 10/10/10 Chapter G held our Annual Fall Foliage Poker Run. The weather was clear, cool in the morning (a balmy 36 degrees at 8:00 am) but the weather was sunny and the ride home for the 59 registrants was much nicer and warmer. 

Everyone commented on the ride and thanks to Jim Venne and Len Swanson for putting the ride together. Great job! 
We had riders from as far as Quebec Canada and from the cape. Carol and Vic CLoutier even had some friends from Chapter E in Conn. join them at the end.
 
Thanks goes out to " The GREEN TEAM" the members of Chapter G, Bob and Kaye Hamel for the donation of the cake and helping out at the registration table, Chris and Jeannie Barrett along with friend Lisa Meier for manning the first stop in Epsom, Carol CLoutier and CLaire Collins for manning the Alton stop, Dick Breton for handling the poker hands at the Elks, Len Swanson for handling the money along with his wife Barbara for helping out at the registration table, Mark and Ginny Perkins for coordinating the members and helping out at the starting point, Lee and Meri Hirtle for helping out at the registration table, Jim and Sue Venne for volunteering the shop for the registration and donating the coffee and donuts, Michael Goldsmith for donating items for sale with the money going to the Ride for Kids. Ernie and Donna Brown for handling everything at the Elks. I would be remiss if I did not thank my wife Denise for being there for me, she keeps me on the straight and narrow. Thanks to all that donated door prizes. If I forgot anyone of the Green team, I apologize, it was not intentional.

A Big thank you to the Laconia Elks for providing the food for the riders, and for donating the hall.
